Hell Week Feat. Butch Walker

Help support me by purchasing a bad ass, totally gnarly print from my PhotoShelter page. Maybe I will update more often.

So, I’ve been really sick since about the beginning of the month and not until about a week ago did I feel at all normal. I apologize to anyone who I gave one of my business cards to this month and said “Oh, those photos will be up by ________” because that obviously didn’t happen. If you want to check out the photos from Butch Walker please click here.

This will be quick, I’m writing between sets at the Firebird.

Butch Walker and the Black Widows

Butch Walker and the Black Widows. Great set, I wish I wasn’t struck hard by allergies. I would like to personally thank Butch and his tour manager for letting me shoot the whole set. It was a real hoot.

Gil Mantera's Party Dream

Gil Mantera’s Party Dream. Loved these guys. Unfortunately, I had to leave halfway through their performance.

Neil Hamburger

Neil Hamburger. I feel like I dropped the ball on this. I didn’t have the energy to really get in there and some of the people in the crowd had a serious problem with me even being on a knee in front of the stage. Weird.

Harlem. I was somewhat lucid and maybe out of my mind by this, being fueled only by energy shots. At this point I was going off of maybe 12 hours of sleep in 4 days. Played a short set. Very unfortunate. I don’t even think they played “Human Gay Bones”.

The Forecast

The Forecast. Still a bit wonky but functional and somewhat well rested.

Deals Gone Bad

Deal’s Gone Bad. I don’t like ska. Some may know that I’ve actually advanced my efforts as a writer and photographer from my dislike of ska. Deal’s Gone Bad, however, rule.

The Official Dog of Black Gasoline

Finally, the official dog of Black Gasoline. I haven’t put up their set yet but I promise you they rule. Jaw dropping, I was making rock hands at these duders. I’ll write more about them later. Hopefully.

Get This Fool Some Books
When I’m not getting ready for the next show I like to sit down with a good book. Help support www.ishotguydebord.com and my reading habit through my Amazon wishlist. You can always order a print from my large archive of awesome rock shots if you need something rad on your wall.
